Clergy Wellbeing day on "Reflective Practice" 

The next Clergy Wellbeing Day is on Thursday 11th May on Reflective Practice with Jan Korris of St Luke's Healthcare for the Clergy. The day is being held in the Cathedral and will last from 10:00-14:00 (coffee available from 09:30) and will offer the usual mix of worship, Lectio, input and discussion, plus a sandwich lunch. There is also the opportunity to hear more about the Diocesan coaching scheme and to try out "ten minute coaching" tasters during the lunch break.

Clergy Wellbeing days are offered free of charge to all licensed clergy through a partrnership between CMD & the Cathedral. You have missed the deadline to register on-line so will need to call Clare Broome on 01245 294498 to reserve a place.

Please note the change of date of the autumn wellbeing day. it will now be on Wednesday 22nd November on "The Prayer Life of Clergy", speaker tbc.

‘Luther and Swedish Spirituality’ Study Morning

Åse Lindberg, from our link Diocese of Karlstad in Sweden, is currently spending some time here in Chelmsford Diocese on sabbatical. She has generously agreed to lead a Study Morning on 27 June at the Cathedral, about Luther and Swedish spirituality. This is of particular interest this year as we mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The Study Morning is open to all, especially any who are licensed for ministry, and is free to attend. Preaching on Mark’s Gospel

Hosted by the Cathedral and led by the Dean and Canon Theologian, this is a morning designed for lay and ordained preachers. It will focus on the Lectionary Year B gospel readings from Mark’s Gospel.
