Ash Wednesday Quiet Day for Clergy, Readers and LLMs

Refreshments served from 9.30am followed by a simple liturgy at 10am.

Two talks will follow led by Bishop Stephen then at 12.35pm there will be a Eucharist with ashes.

Lunch 1.15pm and the day closes with a simple act of worship at 3pm.

Please sign up here so that a sandwich lunch can be ordered for you, letting us know of any dietary requirements.  So that we have enough food for all attending but also so food is not wasted, please sign up in good time and if you subsequently need to cancel, please email Clare Broome. clare.broome@chelmsfordcathedral.org.uk

 

Maundy Thursday Diocesan Eucharist with Blessing of Oils Thursday 18 April 11am

All are welcome to attend the service and collect oils for ministry.  You do not need to bring containers.  If you are a Reader, LLM or member of clergy who would like to robe and process we need to know you are coming as the service is usually full and I will need to reserve a seat for you.

Alice is the lead tutor for the Theology and Youth Ministry Degree programme at St Mellitus College, and former Diocesan Youth Adviser to the Bradwell Area. She has a wealth of experience in getting people to think about youth ministry, with openness and warmth.
