Tickets for our Choral Foundation events can all be purchased from here. Please note that a booking fee will be incurred, which is explained on the Ticketsource website. Tickets can also be purchased on the door of each concert, and will not carry a booking fee.

Concert: Chelmsford Singers

Saturday 1st July 2017 - 7.00pm

A gala concert for the 90th anniversary of the choir, including: Carl Orff Carmina Burana; Alexander Borodin Polovtsian Dances; Benjamin Britten Sain Nicolas with Chelmsford Cathedral Girls' Choir, Cathedral choristers & choral scholars, and Chelmsford Sinfonietta. Conductor: James Davy.


Cathedral Girls' Choir Songs & Scones

Sunday 2nd July 2017 - 5.00pm

Enjoy a cream tea whilst being entertained with songs from musical theatre, Rodgers & Hammerstein and other surprises. In aid of the Cathedral Girls' choir tour to Devon and Cornwall. Pimms will be available at the bar.

Stabat Mater 

in aid of the Italian Red Cross Earthquake Appeal

Sunday 9th July 2017 - 7.30pm

An evening of sumptuous Italian music from three baroque masters in the beautiful setting of Chelmsford Cathedral, accompanied by a professional string orchestra.

Celebrity Organ Recital

Saturday 29th July 2017 - 6.30pm

Peter King, international recitalist and formerly organist of Bath Abbey plays a varied programmme exploring the colours of the 1994 nave organ.
