Chelmsford Cathedral
Cathedral Mosque Cricket Match

CHELMSFORD CATHEDRAL and Chelmsford Mosque held their first ever cricket match on Sunday 18 September.  Both places of worship got teams together for the event, the first inter-faith match that has ever taken place in the City.

“This cricket match is not just a game,” said Vice Dean of Chelmsford Cathedral, Revd Ivor Moody.  “It is an important landmark in interfaith relations between Islamic and Christian communities and in the work of the Mid-Essex Interfaith Forum to promote friendship and understanding between people of different cultures and faiths”.
