Chelmsford Cathedral
Cathedral Photography Competition

Do you have a flair for photography and an eye for interesting detail? You can help us show people the wonders waiting to be discovered at Chelmsford Cathedral by entering our ‘Capture the Cathedral’ Photography Competition.

We’re looking for inspiring, creative images that capture the very best of the Cathedral. From interesting angles and unusual shapes, to bursts of colour and reflections of light, we want to see your unique view of the Cathedral, both inside the building and out. We’ve given you three themes to help you;

Both amateur and professional photographers are invited to enter and you can submit up to three images for each category. The competition will culminate in a special exhibition at the Cathedral which will be open to the public throughout August.

The photographer of the winning image will have their image appear in the Cathedral’s Guide to Events which is distributed across Essex. The winning image will also have their work permanently displayed in the Cathedral Chapter House and have their photo featured on social media and our website.
